Our Team
We integrate social work and exercise physiology using evidence-based models and neuroscience to empower healing, movement, and personal transformation — we support psychological insight, and physical function, to create meaningful behavioural change.

About Ruth
Hope, Optimism, Potentiality
Ruth’s background spans youth work in Out of Home Care (OOHC), clinical mental health settings, and private behavioural coaching. She has delivered her programs at Ramsay Health’s Northside Clinic and developed her own trauma-informed framework shaped by both evidence-based models and her personal journey of healing.
Drawing on neurophysiological principles, Ruth supports children, adolescents, and adults to shift entrenched behavioural patterns, build emotional regulation, and create meaningful, lasting change. Her work is grounded in social work theory and integrates models such as strengths-based practice, motivational interviewing, and the P.A.C.E model of trauma-informed care.
She brings a dynamic, empowering presence to her sessions — creating safety, fostering self-awareness, and helping clients reconnect with their capacity for choice, growth, and healing. Ruth holds a Master of Social Work and qualifications in NLP, case management, and sport and recreation. She is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Outside of her professional work, Ruth is energised by nature, music and movement. Whether she’s swimming, training for triathlons, or exploring the mountains, she draws strength from moments of embodied connection in nature. She is deeply moved by music, often soaking in the beauty of candlelight concerts. She loves spending time in Fiji and with her daughter, Litia – named after her ‘yaca’, Litiana from the village Nawaqurua. Their weekends are often filled with adventure at Springloaded, skating or bike riding. Ruth also has a passion for creating pearl jewellery, which to her is a sacred metaphor of our ability to transform painful experiences into something profoundly beautiful.
