NDIS Women’s group
This structured small group program supports women to develop body awareness, emotional regulation, and practical life skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
The session begins with BodyRecal, a guided movement and interoception program delivered by an allied health professional. Participants explore gentle strength, breathwork, and mindful body awareness exercises designed to improve internal sensation recognition, nervous system regulation, and overall wellbeing.
Following BodyRecal, the group enjoys a community lunch, providing an opportunity to practice social engagement, communication, and real-world participation in a relaxed setting.
The afternoon continues with the LifeSphere life domains program, a facilitated session focused on personal growth, strengths-based reflection, and life skills. Activities support participants in developing confidence, decision-making strategies, and self-regulation techniques that can be applied in everyday life.
This group format allows women to access multiple supports in one session, reducing the need for additional individual support hours and travel costs while providing meaningful, structured engagement.
Key outcomes include:
- Enhanced interoception and awareness of internal states
- Improved emotional regulation and resilience
- Increased confidence and self-efficacy
- Development of practical life skills
- Social connection and community participation
